Look at the current TMX pipeline fiasco. Canada could have been a world leader in LNG, but most of the original projects have been shelved and international partners moved on. It's funny because TKO controls the Prosperity mine asset in central BC which is an absolute monster of a copper and gold asset ( funny enough the company still puts the asset on their website) but BC killed the project due to protests from First Nations/ environmental groups.
The irony of a poster here saying how great TKO is and how risky the DRC is, yet BC killed TKO's most prospective asset.
So many people don't realize how incredible a feat IVN has accomplished in building out the assets they have in the period they have. They are going to have built a 3-stage mine with the largest smelter in Africa in 3-4 years in a country that required them to also build their own roads and develop their own power supply. It's jaw-dropping.
