Unclear if only Zambian miners were contacted. Reduction of power to operate mine would seem to be a reportable material fact for public disclosure.
No doubt Ivanhoe could pay whatever they needed to continue operations, but how likely will Zesco send power to DRC while rationing their own mines? Maybe a few millions in the right hands might do the trick, but shouldn't the higher costs drag down profits?
