no bad. what stops it from blowing thru $13 ?   location DRC? makes no sense

Makes total sense with copper weak US slowing 1st 1/4 gdp 1%, half of what was forcast, recession more and more in the cards. DRC is less an issue with what Mexico and South America is doing. What surprises me is how well copper stocks are doing with all that.

thought about it. if it was worries about economy the price would be on a steady downward trend. that the stock is locked into $12 area and can't crack $13 and run is something else

Location is always a risk with Russian influence increasing in Africa. There is also growing evidence of the Wagner Group’s presence in Burkina Faso and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Russia is courting Burkina Faso through military and political endeavours, and has stated its intent to aid nations in the Sahelian region in combating the jihadist threat in their countries. I don't think that the Russians will be willing to go up against the Chinese in the DRC and elsewhere in Africa. They might do it in places where the Chinese are not operating but they know where they have to step aside.

Wagner already killed some China people. Russian mercenaries fingered in attack on Chinese workers in CAR Russia's Wagner Group mercenaries are accused of killing 9 Chinese workers at a gold mine in the Central African Republic, complicating relations between Bangui, Moscow and Beijing.
