Big bets made with IVN call options (TMX)

These are thinly traded and 100 contracts is usually a lot for these guys.

But recently:
Aug 14's calls - 5309 contacts
Sept 14's - 962 contracts
Mar 14 - 814 contracts
Mar 15 - 501.  "
Mar 16 - 1,315 contracts

I know call option volumes aren't the best indicators in the world ...but these are way above the norm

As someone who trades a lot of options, those numbers don't mean a lot.  In fact, the number of contracts doesn't even indicate a bullish or bearish stance.  For example, if you owned 100,000 shares which is clearly bullish, and then want to write calls against that position, you could short 1000 contracts ( covered calls) and take in the premium.  Overall, that would be ...more

Thanks man there use to be a segment on CNBC "usual option action" some traders make a great living following usual option action as they know something we dont cheers
