New Tax

"Currently, 50 per cent of capital gains profits are taxed, compared to 100 per cent of a person’s employment income. That will remain the case for the first $250,000 of capital gains income, but will rise on income above that level to 66.6 per cent.

The government estimates it will apply to only 0.13 per cent of personal income tax filers and just 12 per cent of corporations"

If we start collecting a dividend.   We don't need to cash in our gains.

Your post doesn't clarify if its on a yearly basis.. just the amount of $250G, which in my mind would be like the old $100G cap gains exemption that used to be around years ago.. it was a cumulative amount not yearly.. and my take is the $250G is cumulative.. Aside from that, hey we broke another 52 week high today and copper is breaking out.. sweet..!!  ;-)
