Yes indeed, lire and old broken record,  I much prefer gold to silver. This market will sink any day now. Not if but when....all signs are clear. Gold was the only man standing in 1929 to 1937 and stocks like Homestake Mining (acquired buy Barrick in 2001) went up 6x folds. Silver tumbled during 1929-1932...then climbed back. Fun fact.  The only sector other than pms which made money during the depression was movie studios. My only hypothetical question is when the markets tank--as they must--will pms dive down with them INITIALLY before liftoff.  That could be very disquieting...the old 'bull markets shake off every last investor that they can'. We shall see.

It's good to keep in mind, during a market collapse/catastrophe, the good go down with the bad. Some people, not most, will face margin calls. They must sell their good stuff at any price to meet their call. Then there are those who don't have margins but invested more than they can afford to lose, they sell everything to "save" what's left. That puts more pressure on the ...more
