But in regards to your statement of the "good news" - where has this good news been in the last 10 years?  Do you not see an concerning trend with this company (stock price/chart) and how it's operating?  It's been on a treadmill and they can't keep continuing like this.  They pulled out their last trick on the recapitilzation and the shedding (selling/giving away) of assets.  I'd love to hear where you think they go from here - domination in the Texas marketplace?  




There's no good news yet, you can read the article posted by Pointer to have a good summary of what's going on.

Basically, the governor punted the issue to the Senate and the House. Then, the Senate passed legislation towards partially reversing prices. The House put out a statement that they didn't agree, the governor raised concerns about the constitutionality of repricing. Nothing else has happened since then.

All hope lies with the Lt Gov, who has tried the public approach to get the Gov to sign their bill: 

"The governor is a very powerful person," Patrick said, ratcheting up pressure on Abbott to act after he refused to publicly back the Senate's approach. "He can do anything he wants.”
