RE:RE:Other odd things. Spring 2016 Interview Financial Post Nope. I didn't write anything. They never wrote back to my other 7 questions from last Monday.
I don't like the shadiness of this operation/management team. This is really the worst gold play out there for small midtier at this point. Even Asanko bounced back from its dirt cheap lows mid December and went up 110 % from the bottom. We have just gone down, down and more down.
The pattern of revealing such negative news releases like that back-to-back is very odd. Have they gone mad??
Not allowing the 15,000 K GOEs through the mill even at lower recovery rate was the icing on the cake, as I said, they could have still been close or a bit over 200 K GOEs. There was NO room for another huge miss. And then to release such bad Fire Creek #s...nothing makes any sense. I got killed here. I will try to make back with Kirkland and B2Gold (my top 2 picks in gold space for 2018) over the next 6 months with gold holding over $ 1300 should be great CF on Kirkland Lake and the mines are top tier.
I still think something is going on behind the scenes at KDX thus the silence, but no one pays 100 % premiums on midtiers, so no way anyone is getting $ 3.00 USD
since the average premium is 45 %. At this point this is a pure tax loss or wait for a bid that may never come due to the Fire Creek #s.
The shares are so far gone it's disgraceful to have such SP erosion in four months on a midtier. The pace of the SP destruction is far worse than Primero Mining which was over a couple of years. Captainconn was completely right the evening the Q3 #s were released October 19th that the opportunity cost would be huge holding Klondex, and boy was it ever a huge opportunity cost!! Lesson learned. The market is 99 % of the time right in valuing an equity such as this - reasons out of our control. The silence from management has done nothing to alleviate things either. Pure insanity. Almost like "forced SP suppression."
Last question which everyone should think of:
By holding back the 15 K GOEs at Hollister from 2017 to 2018, are these 15 K GOEs going to be part of the 2018 Hollister guidance of 37 K to 40 K? OR are the 15 K GOEs that are not yet put through the mill NOT part of the 37 K to 40 K GOEs? Because if they are a part, then that would mean 2018 guidance for Hollister is really MUCH LESS truthfully.
Also, if Hollister is a high grade mine from the time of GBG, how are they getting cash costs of $ 920 to $ 970? JIN
