Production will be closer to 300k oz in 2017 ???

Am I missing something?  1Q is 58k GEO mined and this includes very little from Hollister and less than 4k from True North.  37k and a little less than 30k are still coming from True North and Hollister, respectively, and the just published production chart shows significant production growth in both Midas and Fire Creek in each of the remaining quarters.  Interesting that they don't have a scale on the production graph.  Even if Nevada production was flat, we are looking at 215k just from Midas and Fire Creek  for the full year.  Add 67k from Hollister and True North and that equals 282k.  So if there is evan a little production growth from Midas and Fire Creek we are looking at 300k GEO for 2017.  I ask again, what am I missing?

When you add the remaining 37k and 28k guidance for True North and Hollister, you get 272k for the year and that's with flat production from Midas and Fire ...more

It is like 15-20 % higher mostly because Midas and especially Fire Creek are not flat vs last year (per the guidance). The apparent growth in production of Midas and Fire Creek on the 2017 production forecast chart merits an explanation. As reported in previous years, the production of these two mines is always higher in H2. This disparity between H1 and H2 may be greater in 2017 due to the snow ...more
