CHECK NEXT WEEK AND YOU WILL SEE THESE FIRMS SOLD OFF! A number of institutional investors and hedge funds have recently bought and sold shares of KLDX. Formula Growth Ltd. bought a new stake in Klondex Mines in the 2nd quarter valued at $23,468,000. State Street Corp bought a new stake in Klondex Mines in the 2nd quarter valued at $10,076,000. Northern Trust Corp lifted its position in Klondex Mines by 6,814.4% in the 2nd quarter. Northern Trust Corp now owns 1,550,405 shares of the company’s stock valued at $5,225,000 after acquiring an additional 1,527,982 shares in the last quarter. U S Global Investors Inc. lifted its position in Klondex Mines by 5.6% in the 2nd quarter. U S Global Investors Inc. now owns 11,100,000 shares of the company’s stock valued at $35,159,000 after acquiring an additional 592,400 shares in the last quarter. Finally, Renaissance Technologies LLC lifted its position in Klondex Mines by 190.0% in the 1st quarter. The volume was 2.2 M not 6-7 M plus... Some have liquidated a bit, but there would be huge volume needed next few days for them to liquidate ALL holdings. (institutional) 20 analysts on site visit in September was said at Denver Gold Forum in Huet's speech. This is not a drop in the bucket penny stock. They need to reduce "all in" costs for 2018 which should be perfectly doable ...more

You are forgetting the giant number of shares dumped after production results came out which took this down from $4.80 to $4. Like i said: big money is out and going to be waiting on the sidelines...this is a "show me" story now. No point of riding it down to $2...wait for positive news and once there is confirmation, can buy it. Yeah you may miss the first 50 cents or so off the bottom ...more

Good point for the earlier dumping of shares. They actually had it at $ 4.40 CAD before the release on Oct 19th which made me wonder if someone was "in the know" already selling from Monday to Thursday with the press release on the Thursday evening. As for Eldorado, no comparison at all, since Klondex has an untapped $ 23 M revolver and not much debt. ELD has hundreds of millions coming ...more

Eldorado bulls were probably saying the same after the initial sell off but sometimes the sp continues to drift lower on low volume after bad news. Problem is i just don't see any catalyst to bring in buyers in the near future.
