why are shares down? because

the reason the shares are down so much is not that they missed production...its the cash burn. There is a chance if something goes wrong they run out of cash...and vulture shorts know it and attacked.
If they burn more cash next Q they will be forced to dilute no matter what the price is at...Could be 1 buck..who knows.

They have an untapped $ 23 M revolver.  All the extra ore to process also will convert to cash. They need to get the ramp-up as said completed asap to no longer have these "anomaly quarters" as Killeen described it. If they can get to steady state run-rate of production in 2018, "all in" cost guidance should drop big and they should be cash flow positive to cover ALL ...more

How KLDX might end Q4 in terms of cash position: Cash as of Sept 30 2017 $20,607,000 + 16,160 ore stockpiled that should be processed  (dont know the cost to mill ore)  but with rough estimate of $1,250 an ounce for Q4 = $20,200,000 Capital Spending Will Decrease: Q3 was $25,800,000  Q4 Anticipated to be $11,900,000 the difference is a positive $13,900,000.   ...more

This is an excellent post. Maybe a little high on the Cash on Hand End 2017, but still well-reasoned based on ore to run thru Midas. If gold heads over $ 1300 and can remain there for next 6 months or even hit $ 1350, this is a double to triple. Bulk of CAPEX spend for entire Klondex "Master Plan" was hit to in 2017 as we saw from the financials.  Probably would be bought out far ...more

Glad you think so...I too do NOT think there's a need to touch revolver. There is ZERO chance they issue equity as people have said.  Once this Q4 is behind, Cash on Hand will jump and there should be no more anomaly quarters. What I still can't believe is the 41 % haircut which is MASSIVE for this kind of stock...this is a producing operation not a Venture play. I have never seen ...more

This is what "they" do now, why did Hecla over roughly the sane time period decline 33% to yesterdays 3.63 intraday low (now at 4). They beat on earnings and missed on revs - nothing major yet they got killed as the alsos and hedgy boys has their fun.
