PCE Deflator is out on 30th. If it continues at 1.3%

Then no Fed rate hike in December and watch Gold bump up $100 an oz when the Fed makes their annoucement on December 13.

If the number is closer to 2% then the Fed hikes. I expect tape action above $1,300 when the news comes out at 8:30am on Thursday

Jimmy sez $10,000. I say only $100 soon but I do agree with him on lower trending inflation. The numbers don't lie unless they come from any govt. :) We have to much disinflationary pressure to hike. I agree and I think if it weren't for the crypts we would be around 1800+ right now. Jims crazy with 10k, but I could see 3k in the next 7-8 years but we need a major event. Not a one off war scare, we need a major country to have bank runs or the gold backed currencies to take off which I do not see happening as long as USA has the top army so basically not anytime soon.

I agree it puts you in a doomsday frame of mind. I believe that most of the data and not opinion to be true. It just shows you what lies beneath the surface of this market. I agree with most of what you said. Yellen is either an idiot or just the perfect puppet/salesman. Short little grandma, how could you get mad at her. I agree things should rotate to gold but it won't be today, inflation is easy to fake as are job numbers, etc. The charts I liked the other day showed lower income and corporate tax income in many years.
