RE:close at end of day - over 2 million shares.It means you should read the Company news. KL had a convertible bond expire today, so some holders sold their shares instead of converting - for ex. bond-only funds can't own common shares -  it was in the money at C$13.70, so some may have just taken profits, which is why traders sold it off all week. They bought cheap, "printed" the 2 mil shares at the low closing price, then they will move it back up next week.

Wash, rinse, repeat. Nothing ever changes.
