RE:Hedge Fund to shake up gold sectorVestor, I think anything such a strategic alliance can do to make systemic change to dismal performance of gold stocks is a good thing but they stay silent on what that might be. Maybe withhold a percentage of bullion (put in reserve storage) to pressure supply/demand? but we all know that paper gold is a huge manipulation tool used by the cartel so it'll be hard to change things for the better until they can address this.
Currently I'm out of everything other than KL which has done very well for my portfolio over past year or so. I'm staying long as everything (cash flow, increasing grades, new resources,etc) point to a stock price that should top $40 to $50 CAD. Short term ups and downs are normal and next couple of quarters will really confirm direction. JMHO.
