RE:RE:RE:Here is a thoughtUnlike currency, gold is not easily produced. For the present, there is a finite limit on the amount of gold in existence, and mining and refining it is very expensive. Gold does have intrinsic value as a metal with specific properties. Donuts are much cheaper to produce and theoretically their supply is practically infinite, and therefore less useful as a currency. Donuts also degrade over time, as opposed to gold bars, which are elemental.
