I suspect the costs of their consumables, like diesel, was significant! Makes me wonder about the impact of that at Detour? In any case I'm sure Kirkland as a stand-alone entity has an AISC well below $1K! Kirkland was the cream of the gold miners and unfortunately was sold out by Makuch for his own ambitions.
