Your totally missing kls10's point. He's saying that if an accident where to occur with Kelso's product on the tanker cars, people could think the pressure relief valve isn't as effective as it was said to be, or could even be blamed for the accident. Obviously, this conclusion would be wrong, but the stock will definitely take a beating if the pressure relief valve is being investigated as a potential catalyst to the accident or negative press is attached to it. The same thing happened with Tesla when three of their cars came on fire around the same time... Tesla was in no way at fault, but the media started spreading the false rumors and you saw the stock lose almost 50%. It bounced back eventually when people realized it wasn't a fault with Tesla.
It's impossible for the pressure relief valve to completely prevent a fire. So it's better if there's no accidents, just in case one of them where to involve tanker cars with Kelso products.
