OT: I have been receiving emails from my brokers lately . . I use 5 agencies to trade and 4 of them have sent me emails enticing me to: .." earn more on my holdings ".. essentially they are requests to borrow my shares.

Too funny. The emails are written in sheepeze but that portion above is common to all of them and do not disclose exactly how "earning cash" is accomplished other than lending them to the house.
