RE:RE:10 million ozs

RE:RE:10 million ozsYeah, that was an absolutely huge bonus for K92, when Barrick agreed to accept $12.5 million instead of future payments totalling $60 million, as it came at a crucial time for K92, which was still early in it's mining operation buildup, and had (at that time) just undergone a phase of substantial share selling by their primary financier (Cartesian), as well as obligatory payments by K92 to Cartesian
So the agreement with Barrick was like removing a huge weight from around the neck of K92, and was a huge and welcome surprise to me, as that sort of concession almost never happens.

As for what's ahead, who knows?  The potential is huge.  Just take a look at the website PP Presentation, page 37:  the lease is jam packed with potential drill targets, both epithermal and porphyry.  (I wonder if that concession from Barrick came with a nod by K92 to allow Barrick a foot in the door on the porphyries if they show some promise, since that's what Barrick originally acquired the lease from Highland in the first place).  https://secureservercdn.net/198.71.233.254/l30.7e2.myftpupload.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/k92-january-2021-updated-1.pdf

Today, although it's backed off a bit at the moment, K92 quietly traded at a new all-time high earlier.  I still think that gold will see much higher prices over the coming years;  the K92 epithermals seem to be on their way towards (maybe) a 10 million ounce resource, and if they start to hit something on any of the porphyries, then, "Katy, bar the door", because many of those hold the absolute monster sized deposits.
