Earnings before the Opening Bell

Earnings before the Opening BellGiven gold eq production that was only 78% of 4th quarter numbers, I predict morning eps
to come in at $0.04/share. This would be far short of the $0.07/sh in 4th q. Also, KNT had indicated that the AISC number of $680 in 4th q would be closer to lower end of guidance in 1st q which I recall as $870 due to stage 2a and stage 3 spending.

The good news is that that $0.04/sh in q1 2022 would replace the$0.02/sh in q1 2021 to which it's compared for trailing 12 month earnings. I expect next quarter will be back on track toward $0.07/sh if gold price can stabilize above $1800.

The last report on cash balance increase came in at $88.5 million so I expect KNT May approach $100 million if figure given tomorrow... good for the long run but may be drawing away from eps in the short term as stage 2a and 3 are financed. Lewinsky interview from earlier this year with PNG PM was that KNT would be spending $290 million over the next 3 years. It would be nice to get an update on how much of that $290 M has been spent considering cash already on hand.

I expect to see KNT Sedar post around 7am EST tomorrow.
