Sorry, I have never been on either site to know what is what. Being a farmer, I get auction sale alerts and this one popped up and it surprised and concerned me.
Will check and see if there any other sales in the Auction pipeline and let the group know if anything comes up again.
I personally did not see this one coming, but wonder if staff will be layed off next. Makes sense to me. In all my years, when the office goes, so does the office staff and when the equipment goes, so does the people who operate that equipment to save money to protect and pay Management.
Given no one on the board or the CEO or the CFO do not own any shares, they are in effect spending our shareholders money on themselves and in my opinion and experience that is never fair, equitable or is inclusive or diverse. Whatever those politically correct terms are. Bottom line, they are not sharing our pain and losses.
What the game plan is now, is the question. Continue to sell assets off to pay the C-Suite and Board?
Run it to zero and the Gujarati's hold what's left? They don't seem to want to put any money in or partner in a meaningful way where they might have to put money in or get diluted.
I just want to have a Western Canadian success story where we add value to our resources. That is how to build economic strength and opportunity for out people.
Spending money and virtue signalling seems to be the New Way! Those of us old enough to remember what overspending does to inflation, interest rates and taxes know better. When in a hole, stop digging.
Speaking of which.
It's Election Day. Please don't vote Liberal or NDP. We cannot afford more of the same. For your own and Canada's own good, we have to stop digging and spending on things with no return.
