I think he meant GSFC is doing better overall now, not just their investment in KRN. Either way both are true but GSFC doesn't want to make the financial investment in Wynyard, at least not outright - if I recall correctly they used their contacts with Indian financial institutions for the previously proposed package, and their only commitment towards the financing was as a backstop for the equity component, where they would buy up any shares left unsold.
There is absolutely no reason for GSFC to be gun shy right now. They don't want to build when the price is low, they don't want to build when the price is high, when are they going to build? What are they here for? Why get involved in the first place?
