In the most recent week, gold has basically stayed flat or gone down.
It is difficult to understand what is really happening.
I've been hanging on to my investments in the precious metals arena for quite some time with what I consider to be strong hands.
Never thought that I'd experience them feeling weaker.
Everything I see going on in the world tells me that gold is the place to be.
A huge portion of the world's investment community obviously does not see it that way.
Is it possible that we can chalk it up to manipulation of the gold price for only so long.

I have never really figured out what elements make the cryptos move up and down, or Bitcoin itself. This last bit seems to be all about the U.S. government putting in regulations that aren't as foreboding as the earlier picture and the opening of an ETF market in the U.S.

The original fall and the current recovery all seems to be around regulations but what is the underlying element that makes cryptos go up and down when not considering the regulatory hurdle?
