Nickel and gold ..."a rare combination"

From spet. 2020
https://www.mining.com/karora-discovers-new-gold-nickel-mineralization-at-beta-hunt/

"
It contains an estimated 10.1Mt gold resources at 2.9 g/t for 944,000 contained ounces of gold, as well as 379Kt nickel resources at 4.42% for 15,840 contained tonnes of nickel, both in the measured and indicated category."

at $19,000/tonne US X 15,840T = 30,096,000,000

What does $30B in nickel do the cost mining the gold?  Nickel an EV metal...depending upon which website....is up $300 to 800/t today alone.

None of this takes into account any resources found since sept 2020 nor any future discoveries.

Reduce the $30B to $15B (net after cost of mining)...I have no idea what it costs to mine, but $15B/150M shares equals $100/share for the known nickel as of Sept news release, limited to only a small portion of total ground.

I appreciate the sentiment but I think there may be a problem with a couple of those zeros.

Thank you, and you are correct...recalculated nickel to be worth aprox. 300,000,000 NOT 30B. I will be more careful in the future.

And how do you rationalize or equate this to our current $3/share?
Comment by Newbern on Feb 19, 2021 5:02pm
Doesn't the $19K x 15,840T come to $300M and not $30B? That is a pretty big difference.
