If this deal goes forward including ASX shares, I'm out ASAP, last thing I want is a boatload of illiquid ASX shares.

Yes this would go to the shareholders for a vote in the event of a deal being reached. I have researched their company ever since the news broke and I don't know if this is a bad situation until further details have been released. I ran some calculations and the deal actually could be beneficial for us if we are evaluated in a appropriate manner. The leaked news was inappropriate and border ...more

When has voting by retail ever mattered? Typically the board and management always get what they want.

Apparently Hecla's bid for Klondex went through without a vote.

Very interesting Highwired7 . It does look like they did make the deal without a vote for Klondex. There was a class action lawsuit filed does anyone know how it turned out.? Thanks for the heads up.

Oddly enough, as cheap as Klondex was acquired for, the lawsuit was against Hecla for paying twice what they should have.
