Why now is China, a hybrid communist regime, suddenlydoing advanced research on cannabinoid compounds, a regime that has very strict laws restricting cannabis consumption? We need to remember the devastating impact COVID had when it first appeared in China and then quickly spread around the world through global travel. The global economic impact sending shockwaves through out the entire global economy along with the social costs associated with the COVID outbreak in China. Recall how the husband and wife team research team from a western province in Canada discovered the benefits of cannabis compounds mitigating the effects of COVID on those on life support, their lungs filling up with fluids and slowly dying from asphixiation.
Perhaps we need to remember also that the ice core sample taken from a glacier in China revealed over 30 different viruses, scientists stating they could only identify about 5 of them, the rest they had NEVER seen before and have no idea what impact it would have upon humans.
History contains many examples that can teach us if we have learned from the mistakes of history. The COVID lock down in China, cities the size of New York in China, completely turned into ghost towns because of lock down. It could have been worse but it was in a way, the first recorded case of practicing isolation and so too China's very old history, equivalent to Egyptian history, revealed the use of cannabis for medical applications.
Perhaps it is for these reasons that China is now suddenly accelerating advanced cannabis research.
