Labs vs Hexo
Anytime you get 10 million one way or another is a positive to financials. If you dont have to do a write down is positive financially

Simply, status quo is the amount staying in receivables. When it's settled we will either have a gain or a loss. Sorry, thank you what's up with this volume????

I agree. I am saying that receivables are already included in the cash position of the company so even if they receive the money it will not increase their cash position. Thanks for clarifying.

They've already booked it as revenue on a previous quarter.

It's been a carryover receivable ever since. I could be wrong here but I am pretty sure that's how it boils down.

In other words, if they lose it will be a 9 million dollar write down. And that's what the shorts are betting on at this point.

Regarding international growth: if LABS proves itself with STADA, it will be extremely well positioned to sign a deal with USA behemoth pharma. If this happens, LABS will definetely be on a whole different level. ALso, if this ends green today, it will be a 4 day green streak.... hasn't happened since march 2020.

Anybody know why the rest of the sector is exploding? On my list, only LABS and VLNS are stuck in the mud.....

People saying it's because jazz pharma acquired GW pharma for 7.2B

It is a vote of confidence in cannabinoids from a behemoth pharma. Considering GW's position in the usa with its FDA approved cannabinoid medecine, it means jazz pharma believes the canabinoid market will flourish.

That's one giant of a company now. I'm not soft bashing here guys but would a company that size not be able to basically supply the world demand? It's mind boggling.

I guess the better question is are they allowed to do business outside the US at this point?

Honestly, LABS performance today is a surprise to me. Did not think it was going to hold the gains it made yesterday. It closing .75 and up is a solid day IMO, considering nothing positive was announced for LABS itself.
