Bank of Nova Scotia pays 6.58% dividend so LB would have to trade at 28.50$ to give the same income.

should probably consider that they would have to issue a lot of shares to do that NA's market cap 20x that of LB. Therefore your definition of a lot = ... 5% increase in outstanding
