and current $17.12 says the rich distribution will continue for some time.  I don't see a significant enough fall in our holdings until next year, if at all.

I agree.  There will be shortage of stock for sale as a lot of us bought when the bank and insurance stocks were low the last time.  I just reviewed my holdings of LBS.  Since I bought I have drawn the dividend as cash flow and I subtract that from the price I paid.  It makes a lot of sense as a portion of the dividend is reported as return of capital.
