A mystery
How is it that LCS with a NAV of 5.11 is trading a full dollar below DGS with a NAV of 4.62? This does not compute!

No rhyme or reason to this. It may be, in part, because DGS has already been paying distributions, sporadically, while LCS hasn't paid in quite a while. Share prices do seem to be moving closer to each other recently though.

Maybe LCS will need to pay distributions again for a few consecutive months before it gets a true valuation.

LCS has not made a distribution since April 2022. Also, when it does make a distribution it only pays $0.075 per share as opposed to $0.10 per share for most other Brompton splits. So, based on todays selling price of $5.10 that means your ONLY getting 17.6% yield.

Well buying today, maybe, but i am getting over 20% yield at my acquired price. And as far as value goes, there is not another splitfund common trading above $5.30 REAL VALUE that trades at a discount. DGS will pay 24 cents on JAN 16th in distributions and LCS will pay nada. To each his own tho. No guarantees that DGS gets back to payiing.
