I had a "low" bid in the Morning at 6/share and got filled at the end..... I keep reminding myself, that I am buying our Giant Canadian insurance companies at a discount. It is puzzling to me and means that investors do see something that I am missing.  Have my fingers crossed really tight.....that discount is worth the risk.

slst...Great question!  Before I bought I had the same question. Here is my thinking... The trading in split shares is primarily retail as opposed to institutional.  If the bulk of trading was institutional then for sure I would have to assume that I am missing something since they have more info than I have and more money at stake - with retail investors - eh... That said it does beg

CIBC was the buyer ... it was Anonymous doing the dumping.
