Last trade of the day is a large short. Looking at the market on close orders Goldman is the primary brokerage. This could all be just normal and a coincidence. Given MedReleaf's zeal to cashoiut and the fact that the majority of outstanding shares are owned by very few players, they can direct the market by lending their shares for shorting. Having said this, the largest two brokerages involved with todays trades are CIBC and Anonymous.
