No accounting for stupid, ( selling at a big discount)  i guess they want to short or manupilate the market.

For every seller there is a buyer!   I doubt short selling in LFE since it has low volume and trades at a discount.   But who knows..   Waiting till Friday to add a few more shares if its still at large discount.

Buying at a discount does not always translate into a profit. This always trades at a discount so if it sinks so does your capital. Those that paid near $5 are now looking at one distribution which will be offset by their capital loss. Hopefully tomorrow markets bounce because it's ex-div date. It will eventually come back, but I would be a buyer under $4. In the past I bought it only in the  ...more

Ex divvy date for who?  LFE ex divvy date is the 31st according to Stockwatch as Ex divvy and record date are now the same.  Tomrrow can still buy and get distribution.

Correct, was thinking 2 settlement days before ex-div date. It's all 1 day now.

I believe that's only if you have the cash in your account? When I read the change of regulation notice, it appears that if you sold something else that day and are waiting for funds to pay for the purchase, it may not clear until the funds are verified in your account.  Ok for those trading on margins.  GLTA the good folks here.

Yep a bit confusing....it is 2 days for settlement of a stock transaction but that changes to 1 day starting Monday
