Most people are not aware of how drastic cheap natural gas and wind power has devastated stable electrical generation. Nuclear stations typically do not ramp up or down quickly. I have seen significant periods of time when nuclear output is sold to grid operators essentially for free when demand is low. Nuclear station operators would be well served to invest in several large scale VRFB projects.
