Alex Koyfman on When to Sell / Buy

Alex Koyfman on When to Sell / Buy

Excerpts:

Koyfman: I try to figure out what catalysts they are expecting at least, I obviously don't know if the catalysts are going to come or not but if I know that there are certain things lined up that if they work out the way the company expects they are going to work out in my favour then I’d try to obviously do it before all those catalysts come along.

Koyfman: If a stock I really believe in that I’ve bought at 20 cts and suddenly nothing has changed but it’s at 15 cts, yeah I’m going to buy it ... .If I like it at 20 cts why wouldn’t I like it at 15 cts?

Koyfman: I’m not in the habit of dumping stocks that I have lost on. I mean I have stocks on my portfolio that have been there for years and I haven’t sold them because they are down.

Koyfman: You are just going to keep waiting because time is the most important element in investing. Most of the time, your time will come, you just need to wait long enough.
