It may seem simple minded, but more shares are being offered for sale, than the number of shares on the buy side.  The buy/sell must eventually match, but at a lower-than-current price.  Volume mis-match results in price movement, not the absolute volume in itself. Someone may disagree, but that's the way I see it.  TriN
