Bizarre speculations

Bizarre speculationsAnyone working in the mining industry knows that personnel are extremely mobile. People leave to pursue other opportunities, perhaps those that involve a startup that offers more personal opportunity. People in that demographic get diagnoses of cancer, or sick kids, or aging parents, and decide that they don't want to work 80 hours a week. People get frustrated or bored, or have personality conflicts, or want a change of venue. Or, occasionally, they are not very good and are removed. A week after they are gone it is as if they never existed. Nobody is that important, and the organization just closes the gap and moves on. Sitting here speculating about why the guy left is a bit tasteless and sophomoric.
