Share Holder Right Plan...

Sorry Geoff13...

It was voted down May 4, 2011.

https://www.share.ca/files/SHARE_2011_Key_Proxy_Vote_Survey_1.pdf

Click on above...go to page 22.

The proposal was withdrawn by Management...there are a number of institutional investors that want out of this...they take every opportunity to exit...stage left.

There are so many better plays to put your money to work...they are years away from making any significant profits.

There cash cost may eventually go down to between $800.00 to $900.00...but...their overall costs will be well above industry standards for years to come. Overall costs are probably running around $1,400.0 to $1,500.00 per ounce. at the present time.

Their "cash burn" is signifcant and will continue into the future.

My advice...as it was 6 months ago...move on...get your money working in a better play that has been smashed and is making the turn with potential for significant share price appreciation.

I wish you all the best...but...come on...you must of "gotten it" by now.

Best Regards,

Digger144

P.S. Any take-over will result in a premium of only between 20-30%. This will be enough to satisfy the many that want out.

I WONDERED WHY ALL THE SELLING ,IT WAS MORE THAN YEAR END STUFF TO GO FROM 4.25 TO .69 CENTS AND MISSING A DEADLINE ---IMHO WHAT IS THE REAL PROBLEM ---NOT ENOUGH RICH ORE OR INCOMPETENCE WHY ARE OVERALL COSTS SO HIGH COMPARED TO OTHER MINES . LIKE TONY HAS NOT BEEN TELLING THE TRUTH OR WHY MINE A  LOSING PROPOSITION  MAYBE THAT IS WHY YEAR END/QUARTER WRITE UPS ARE WRITTEN SO CONVOLUTED

Am quite shocked by your negtive sentiment on LSG. digger 144 a few yrs back when  LSG was on its way up   was so bullish on LSG it was like he was describing the next Hemlo of yrs ago.BB memebres waited with baited breath for Digger to share his knoledge and wisdom. Then LSG corrected and ran into mining difficulties and all of a sudden no digger posting informative ...more

Hey Geoffs13... The writing has been on the wall for some time now...you just do not want to throw in the towel...so to speak....hanging on to a dream....that turns out to be a nightmare. You just have to follow the trail of disappointments. Hey Harjay... There is nothing to explain...I posted when I got out of Lakeshore @ $3.73. I moved on to Trelawney....if I told you what I made on that one...well...you most likely would not believe me. No disrespect....but..."you" must learn when to move on....perserve capital and continue to make money...by the way...I did very, very well with Lakeshore @ West Timmins Mining. Every ...more

I agree 120% with digger and some people were upset with me in my last posts where I stated LSG was a low grade mine. I too would like LSG to be a higher grade mine, but just as digger has stated and I said in my previous posts, the proof is in the pudding. They are saying it without actually saying it...They need tonnage in order to get their ounces. Hence they are spending huge amounts to ...more

Idlefreebird...those were my exact thoughts you wrote about diggers comment. He is sincere and he has most of the story.     From one that follows LSG closely I know they delivered a low 2012 grade to process lower grade development material. This material needed to be hoisted and made some money for LSG. It gave them a chance to prove out the mill. The grade will rise ...more

THANK YOU DIGGER 144 THE FALLING GRADE HAS BOTHERED ME THIS 3.5-4.0 GRADE ORE JUST WILL NOT CUT THE MUSTARD TONY HAS NOT MENTIONED THE REASON WHY THE LOW GRADE WHERE IS ALL THE HIGH GRADE ORE THAT WAS TALKED ABOUT . IF IF ALL IN COST IS 1500-1900 DOLLARS THE PARTY IS OVER . CASH COSTS ARE IMPORTANT BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT ALL COSTS CASH AND NON CASH COSTS WELL WE MIGHT GET BACK TO 1-2 BUCKS AND ...more

geoffs13...LSG mined a bunch of low grade ore in 2012. LSG changed the mining plan early in 2012 to accommodate  a lower grade formation found while driving the access to the ore stopes. This low grade had to be mined and hoisted as there would be little room to store this material underground. It had enough gold to make low profit. Thus it went to the mill. This is a reason the grade was ...more

I have heard that before I hope you are correct . The all in cost of 15-1900 dollars really bothers me the margin is not enough to break even When the statements come out we shall see what the total cost per ounce is Iam well aware of non-cash charges etc . You are quoting an all in cost of 1500-1900, do you have a source for that number? If not please do not state it as you are just confusing other investors. Many us feel the pain as do you, but lets stick to the facts.

Hey Imstock... You make some very good points.  However, this play is not " a low grade mine". I consider a low grade mine as the industry does at...1.00 g/t. and less...LSG is far from that at 4.00 g.t. The problem is that they are "pulling the muck" from three different underground locations which reflects on the higher production costs....for an underground mine ...more

Digger , so many variables. When you say 6gpt is better than 4 gpt yes by 2 gpt ha ha . This all depends also on mill throughput as a 6 gpt mine that can only put out 700- 800 tpd has less cost but not many onces by year end, mind you can run for 50 years ha ha .To say Lakeshore is pulling ore from 3 different locations is sorta not true, as Timmins West and Thunder Creek  is one and to say ...more

Hey digger, thanks.   Youre right, at 1,680$+ gold its possibly not real low grade. Im used to the 300$ or so days, which is not so many years ago.... You couldnt make a profitable mine at an average grade of 4gpt. So to me 4gpt is still pretty low grade.   As always, good trading!
