A Bright Spot

I read the results and wrote a full paragraph about how LSG missed the quarter. I was rather sad reading LSG missed on grade and tonnage. After thinking long and hard I scrapped the blog.

My best understanding of LSG's problem...COLD FREEKIN WEATHER !!   I remember what idlefreebird posted...all the photo's. My first thought is how cold and no furnace. The volume of work remaining would make it tough to finish up by June. My thoughts were reality for the first quarter. The cold weather certainly was a factor. Tony was in a hard place. We wanted the mill complete by December 2012....accomplished. He never promised perfect production in the first quarter. I was rather sad to see the 2013 forecast. Now it all makes sence.

On a better note LSG is on line to meet the yearly forecast if the mill is completed in June. So when it is all said things are moving well.

The mining business is pretty tough. There are no short cuts to success. We are still getting bumps in the road. The bumps are smoothing out. One day we will get a return. I've worked in many mines. I've seen some pretty high grade surprises over the years. Mainly from the diamond drill results. Less often when the mining blocks are mined. Tony is getting his operation in order. The debt load is not all that bad when you look at the returns coming. I am not missing any sleep although my patience wears this at times. Once this operation has a steady cash flow it would be advisable to crank up the exploration drills. Identify and "prove" the ore bodies. LSG will have plenty of cash income to support a monster diamond drill program. Grow the resource base. Become a highly attractive target for the large companies to take notice. Get a bidding war going for the resource. That might be the greatest near term strategy to rocket the share price. LSG already has found mineral zones. Now it is time to prove them out with lots of diamond drilling.

Goldhappy mark my words the Wetmore will be huge , whenever they get there as it sits in the middle of the porcupine fault and if you look at it's location it would be the same as Hoyle Ponds (13gpt) and Halnor (13.7 gpt) we had some drill results from there but need to go deeper. Time will tell .https://www.temexcorp.com/s/timmins_project.asp?ReportID=508824
