Any insight into Friday's trading on the U.S. exchange

Firstly this was NOT on the TSE but on the U.S. exchange.
Looks like it was marched down to $0.70 and then  this big buy of 3M illion shares was done at $0.92. BUT after hours. Maybe to not raise to much attn. ??
  Can  anyone explain besides triple witching what that crazy trading  was all about . Was it just to allow someone to pick up that 3M at a discount   but they weren't fast enough to buy at that lower $0.70 range and had to catch  it on the way back up  and had to pay a premium to the mkt. price on top of not catching it at those lows,  , OR was there something else going on that we will find out about on Mon. or sometime next week ??

Any insight as to what was going on Friday ??

It also appears that appx 2.5 million shares traded on the TSX in the last minute of trading on Friday.
