What's coming up

yesterday's Merrill Lynch conference,Temex vote on Sept. 14 and then Sept. 16 Precious metal summit , sept 20 Denver Gold forum conference .My opinion on the gold pours are if tonnage was consistant then grade has come down...That being said everybody must realise it's a yearly forecast and that this lower grade will average out at the end of the year due to the higher grade in the first half...Therefore as forecasted 180,000 onces at 4.2 gpt...The bigger picture will be growth and how soon can we get there...The trucks are hauling and many drills are swiss cheesing the properties...Patience is a must but nothing wrong with some daytrading while you wait...GLTAL be strong and long...Go Jays Go !

Exactly what i was saying a few days ago. They are milling at 3400 t/d but the grade in the last two months has been under 4,0 gr/t. But the 180,000 oz is not at risk!! It is all about managing grade!

Wouldn't it be best to use some of the $85 million and finish the back-end circuit. Isn't this basically just adding more CIL tanks? I could see AISC driven extremely low with this completion to 5500 tpd. What is the bottleneck?     Seems there is plenty of ore to process. Relatively Low Cost.  This would get them to over 250,000 oz/year.    What is the hold up? ...more

Plain and simple :to increase mill capacity they need to increase proven resources. Milling at 3400 t/d means a production of 1,200,000 tons annually. Milling at 5500 t/d means a production of  2,000 000 tons annually So  they have at Bell Creek and Timmins West 5,483 ,000 tons at 4,4 gr/t in the probable reserves category as of Dec 2014and more than double that amoint in the '' ...more

bossu - I like your post going straight to the heart of it. Here is what I don't understand. Shaft can handle 6,000 tpd.   Dome can handle 6,000 tpd Grinding circuit 5,500 tpd. Most of the money has ALREADY been spent. Add the additional CIL tanks and finish the job.  The ore body at 144 is huge... Get the mill ready for it when it gets served up next year.  Is this not ...more

How much waste is being hoisted?

Another good question cre8value. My 2 cents figures Tony has his plate full right now. The POG is so very low...near cost or even lower for some miners. When you spend $ ...it's gone. Tony is keeping LSG strong with cash. It might get worse before it gets better. Drain $40 million on capital at a time when gold price is pressing even lower is high risk. Producing more gold at a low price ...more

i have no plans for selling now but i want to buy more shares below 1$ ..this is a gift.. LSG is a low cost producer and one day the POG will start rise again ... LSG will rise long term...
