William in eira out

Thought something was going on but didn't think that was going to happen . Don't know what to think !

Shareholder pressure?
Comment by AndersS on Aug 14, 2023 5:44pm
I guess the UG delay and cost increase made Eira lose her job.  Maybe the lenders will trust Lamb more than Eira?
Comment by nyoni on Aug 14, 2023 5:54pm
Not just her job as CEO  but presumably not on the board of directors anymore. Release says Willy will be a director and the rules say there shall be seven directors total.

so the pressing question becomes Clara, doesn't ET still own a piece of this along with a few others.......wow, just wow.
Comment by KingFox on Aug 14, 2023 7:26pm
okay, lets see what Sweden things of this ....... giddy up.

Clara is a side show the most pressing is the underground and that comment about on going financial commitments.

Clara is owned 100% by Lucara; however ET and some other vendors of Clara get a % of any earnings exceeding a certain amount, for a certain period of time. You'd have to read the agreement to get the exact details.

I imagine Lundin pressure . They can't be happy the shaare price is 38 cents .
Comment by Gerrywerry on Aug 14, 2023 6:27pm
Clara underperforming and huge underground delay. She may have got away with one but not both . It will interesting to see the new  managements  opinion about Clara as it wasn't his idea . One way or another it can't be much worse than than the last few years.  I wonder what Williams remuneration is as eira was over paid by any metric.

Clowns. Fire William tio hire Eira, fire Eira to hire William. The board should all hang their heads in sahme. Is the best you can do at your 1 big task?

I'd be inclined to give the new old boy a chance before making a judgment
Comment by explman on Aug 17, 2023 11:44am
Not making a judgement on Will. Making a judgement on the board. If Will is so great, why did they fire him in the first place?
Comment by Gerrywerry on Aug 17, 2023 12:56pm
He didn't like Clara and wasn't keen on the dividend policy . At  the time Lucas lundin was very keen on the dividend and Clara and eira. Williams biggest mistake was the llr auction.
