I don't understand

The company announced the discovery of a new giant stone and the stock dropped almost 5%. Is there  any news that would cause the pathetic stock price to increase substantially?

I guess those diamonds are already included as security in the financing debt package to the syndicate? Then they can't be used as collateral somewhere else?
