I have said it many times, its nice to be part of a board that shares information as opposed to sniping at one another.
Stock price has been lumpy since December, and there is no doubt that concerned me, and probably others as well. However, once we convert our minds to a long term hold, as opposed to short term gains, then a steady hand guiding a growing profitable business, provides comfort that ultimately the stock price will catch up with the reality of the business.
Besides reducing the share float, i think stock buybacks (should they ever actually do this), sends a strong message to shareholders regarding the certainty of their cash position. Given most of their history, that is an undeniably strong message.
I agree with Wizz in that a few press releases regarding very large orders, are necessary and I hope that they do that. It doesnt make sense to me, to release information about a Software purchase but not a large and material partnership. I am sure they will release them when they happen, but are trying to tamp down expectations about constant press releases.
