So about 75 G of CO2 MJ, or 72% of MEGS CO2 is from consumer consumption and the other 28% is from MEG's production and transportation. That's why the carbon tax will be charged to consumers at the pump too, we're the bigger problem here. When you put that into prospective, Meg itself produces about 21 G of CO2 MJ,compared to the oil sands average of 32 G of CO2 MJ. That means MEG produces about a 3rd less if we don't count what comes out of the consumers tailpipe. How do you like them apples ;)
