i guess the market does not care about their increadible earnings of over $900M quarterly.
All they care about is a one quarter (Q3) writeoff of $700M after tax.
This is going to be off set by the $275M profit made on the Insurance sales.

Agreed they will consider increasing the dividend.

Remember too,
The Gov't promised not to increase interest rate, but
this would not stop the 10 yr treasury yield from going up.

In the long term, market and interest will go up.

This company was trading today under book value.

The best Earnings report under Mr Guloien so far.
