One site stated that there was a SADAR filing but they show nothing for Genworth today.  News reports posted today show that housing starts declined in Canada month over month and that economists expect that trend to continue.  I didn't catch any block trades or see any cross over transfers at the end of the day.  I'm guessing that it might be institution and private holders  spooked by the future build numbers.   Failing that explanation, some possibly got timely advice from a psychic or a computer algorithm decided to take some profits. :-) 

For sure, with 878K shares  in one day traded when GIC very rarely trades over 200K shares/day.....leaves one wondering what is going on ...?
