Mood Media Corp of Austin has signed a major European sports industry client to a nearly $250,000 annual deal that will see the company handle audiovisual experiences in more than 250 locations all over the globe.
Mood can’t name the client as part of the deal, other than to say it is a European-based sports company, and will provide a branded music channel for the company in markets including Germany, Russia, Scandinavia, Spain and the United Kingdom. It will also replace visual platforms in 40 stores across 10 markets using Mood Media’s MVision content management system to control settings from the client’s regional headquarters.
Mood is a global leader in creating positive retail environments through the use of music, visual elements, scents and more, with client operations in 46 countries and more than $500 million in revenue in 2013. The company was formed from the merger of North Carolina-based Muzak and Austin-based DMX and has more than 400 employees in the Austin area.
