Stockwatcher It is quite common to see early stage mining exploration companies trading at only 10-25% of the NPV of a single poject.  It is also quite common to see late stage and even operating mine trading at a 50% discount to NPV. Remember NPV is the present value of cash flows.  It is a tool to estimate a return on investment for a project.  Excuding any synergies no one ...more

Watcher Here is a couple of glaring examples!  Rockhaven Resources has a project NPV of over 500 million they are trading at less than 20 million so not even 5% of NPV Victoria Gold a producer the NPV of just their Eagle mine is north of 1 billion dollars not to count Raven or other interests and they are trading at a little less than 50%.
