March 2011 for conformity review

March 2011 for conformity review

Re: Distribution of Gahcho Kue Environmental Impact Statement

Parties are advised that the entire Gahcho Kue Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has been posted on the

Review Board’s FTP site at ftp://199.247.52.13/ . Parties may also access the body of the EIS (sections 1-14)

directly on the Review Board’s web site.

The Panel is currently conducting a conformity review of the EIS. Due to the size of the document, parties may

wish to wait until this is completed before obtaining a print copy of all 19 volumes. The Panel expects that

distribution of printed copies will occur following the conformity stage. In the meantime, parties that want a copy

of the document on DVD should contact Brenda Anderson at De Beers Canada Inc. at (867) 766-7303.

The Panel expects to complete its conformity review in early March 2011.
